AMPS

The amps program became law on Oct 7, 2002 with the purpose of providing the government with a penalty structure for assessing penalties when corporations and individuals are not compliant with government regulations.

The program will addreses importers and exporters providing for various penalties when import and export regulations are not complied with even if the infractions are not a revenue issue.
